CosaTron is a product of CRS Industries, Inc. - now celebrating 45 years as manufacturer of the CosaTron Contamination Control Systems.
Founded in 1958, CRS has devoted its existence to training and education while providing indoor air quality throughout the world, by enhancing the collecting efficiency of high-efficiency filters.
Since 1980 CRS has devoted over 30,000 hours to "Peer Review" scientific testing.
Recently, a test performed using CosaTron by independent world renowned experts Dr. Linda Utrup and Dr. Allan Frey documented the accelerated removal of bacteria colony forming units from the occupied space, as high as 78% better than air filter systems alone. The test, which is entitled "Minimizing Pathogenic Bacteria, including Spores, in Indoor Air", was published in the Journal of Environmental Health (December 2003).
Another more recent report, "Fate of Bioterrorism-Relevant Viruses and Bacteria, including Spores, Aerolized into an Indoor Environment", was also published in The Society for Experimental Biology and Medicine (2004).
